Vidown does not require user accounts. We process the URL you submit so the backend and worker can fetch metadata and create a download job. Server logs may include IP addresses for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and basic security.

We store theme preference in localStorage. If analytics or Google AdSense are enabled, Google may use cookies to serve ads and measure performance. Users can manage ad preferences through their browser or Google settings.

We use third-party services including yt-dlp, Cloudflare R2 for temporary file storage, and Upstash Redis for job queuing. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell personal data.
